Screening V2: Auto-Complete Task When No Actions Remain

The ODS: Screening Resolution & Materiality task can now auto-complete once every hit has been resolved and no required action remains — not just when a screening returns no hits at all. This removes the need for a separate "complete task" call for clients who disposition hits on an external system and push results to Fenergo via API.

Administrators control this through a new Screening auto-completion setting on the task's Automation tab in Journey Builder, defaulting to Off. Selecting Auto-complete on initial task completion only completes the task the first time all criteria are met; Auto-complete always, including after re-open re-evaluates and completes the task again after it is reopened if nothing remains outstanding. Every auto-completion is recorded in the audit trail.

This capability is gated behind a feature flag and may not be enabled for all tenants yet — contact your Fenergo representative to confirm availability before relying on it.
