Administrators can now manage all Portal email settings from a dedicated Email Configuration area, separate from Brand Configuration. Email templates are presented in a scalable, grid-based layout, and the email domain, sender, and per-brand template content are all managed in one place.

The grid lists each template with its name and last-updated date, paginating after 10 templates and supporting up to 50 templates in total. A Brand dropdown at grid level lets administrators configure every template on a per-brand basis, overriding the subject, body, button text, footer, logo, and colour for each brand individually. Administrators can also add new outreach email templates, which are created against the default brand and made available to all brands automatically, with any future brand inheriting all existing templates and their default values.

Additional templates can be added for outreach emails only. Verification, Password Reset, and Delegated User Notification each support a single template, editable per brand.

Appearance, colour theming, and other brand settings for the Portal remain in Brand Configuration.

Administrators can now configure each brand within a client tenant with its own dedicated authentication method. Brands can be set up independently with SSO with Pre-registration, username/password, or a combination of both on the same login screen.

Where dual authentication is configured for a brand, the login screen can present either username/password as the primary interface with SSO as a secondary action, or SSO as the default flow with a username/password fallback. A maximum of one SSO provider is supported per brand. User identity is resolved using email address as the canonical identifier, ensuring users who hold credentials under both methods are recognised as a single portal identity.

When both SSO with Pre-registration and username/password are enabled on a brand, the self-service signup screen is removed from the username/password login flow to prevent unauthorised account creation. Users must be created via the FenX Portal User Management area, where they are automatically set to Verified status and no verification email is sent.

The Asset Manager Portal initiative has been introduced to enhance how asset managers access and interpret investor information within the Fenergo Portal.
This initiative empowers the Asset Manager to improve onboarding speed, streamline operational processes, see bottlenecks in the investor journey at a glance, and support faster, more informed decision-making.

Key Features:

This initiative provides asset managers with:

Advanced Search Dashboard

This dashboard enables a real-time, dynamic table-based search experience for investor-related data across all managed funds. It is designed to help the Asset Manager to discover entities beyond their directly linked set or who require advanced filtering and investigative capabilities.
Role-based access restrictions ensures data privacy, giving asset managers visibility to entities that they are explicitly permitted to access and interact with.

Journey Dashboard

This dashboard provides the Asset Manager with a centralised view of all in progress journeys for their associated investors. It provides quick access to high-level journey details, helping the asset manager to stay informed.
Each journey details page provides the asset manager with an overview of data, documents, investment accounts, and products associated with that specific journey.

Portal users can now be assigned multiple roles, providing them with access to multiple different dashboards. This provides greater flexibility in tailoring the Portal experience to meet different business requirements and contexts while ensuring permissions remain secure and consistent.

This provides a single, consolidated view of journey activity directly in the Portal, giving external users visibility into onboarding and review progress without needing access to the Fenergo system.

Key Highlights:

Configurators can select from existing Journey Views in Fenergo to determine which journeys and columns are displayed in the Portal.

Supports pre-filtering rules, allowing admins to restrict what journeys are visible to specific users/ roles.

Users can apply multiple filters to narrow results and locate specific journeys quickly.

Enhancements include:

Field Tooltips: Available on all input fields within Data and Document tasks, allowing configurators to add concise explanations or context for complex fields.

Inline Document Descriptions: Short, always-visible summaries explaining the purpose of each document requirement. Ideal for describing why a document is needed, not what action to take.

Document Tooltips: Additional on-hover tooltips can provide extended guidance such as accepted document types, expiry rules, or jurisdiction-specific instructions.

Combined Inline Documeent Descriptions + Document Tooltips: Configurators can use inline text for brief guidance and attach a tooltip for detailed information, with Markdown-supported formatting.

A set of Portal UX Improvements have been introduced to enhance clarity, guidance, and visual feedback for end users.
These enhancements make the Portal easier to navigate and more intuitive, while maintaining alignment with client branding across visual modes.

Enhancements include:

Task-Level Guidance:
New inline guidance messages now display at the top of each task screen to help users understand what information is required.
Configurators can add this through the Task Description field in Journey Builder, linking to predefined guidance text from Global Policy.
This feature supports Data, Document, Related Party, Product, Review, and ID&V tasks in external journeys and stages only.

High Contrast Mode Enhancements:
High Contrast Mode now reuses the tenant’s configured brand colours (Primary, Error, Warning, Info, Success, and Hyperlink).
Each colour automatically adjusts to achieve a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio, maintaining WCAG 2.1 compliance while keeping full brand alignment.

Reopen Indicators:
A new Reopen icon has been added to completed tasks, helping users easily identify where they can take further action.
The icon is visible on hover and fully accessible using keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, or Space).
When activated, the task reopens in an editable state and updates the journey’s progress indicator accordingly.
